There are as many as nine points I could raise with you today. All these are geared to help you get Instagram followers a lot quicker than you are accustomed to right now. Also, this is an opportunity for you to bag quality followers, as in those who will be active on your platform and will, directly or indirectly, be helping to promote your business or cause. While these matters are not necessarily cast in stone, you should at least take them to heart and spend time away from here thinking how you can put these exercises to good use.
So, without any further ado, let’s get on with it then. One of the most important areas you’ll need to address is the way you use your hashtags. Also, you’ll need to remain consistently proactive on your bio or profile page. Furthermore, lovely that you’re taking great pictures for the followers out there. Aim to keep them interested and on cue by always attaching appropriate captions. And do get used to the idea of regular editing and admin work.
Whilst I can’t really see if any of the influencers I’m following are keeping their admin house in order, I remain appalled at the lack of interest and diligence in editing work. As far as I’m concerned, there really is no excuse. And if you’ve been lucky enough to gain the followers, give it time. They’ll quickly lose patience with you and drop you like a sack of potatoes, and then move on. As they always do elsewhere.
Active Instagram users don’t muck around. These are extremely busy people and they’re highly effective in what they do. Speaking of which, don’t preoccupy yourself with stationary numbers. Especially if things have been fairly quiet on the home front, do spend more time networking with leading influencers in your niche area or field of interest. And this generally means that you’ll have to sign up as a follower as well.
Indeed, it is a case of follow the leader. But really, folks, what have you got to lose? Nothing, really, and everything to gain. Speaking of which, take special note of how they are utilizing their dedicated hashtags. Try and see if you notice any positive reactions to their effectiveness. This is good learning material if you’re still new to the complexities of the proverbial hashtag story. Heck, even I’m still trying to make leeway on my side.
Not easy, I tell you. But there’s nothing that practice and persistence can’t get right for you. Me? Don’t take note. I’m guilty as charged. Perhaps it’s because of the perceived drudgery and the wish to spend more time on creative work that keeps me from my hashtag work, but I should be so daft. Not only are hashtag exercises real brainteasers, they’re also pretty creative when you set your mind to the chores.
Speaking of which, that’s where I’ve got to get off the page. Housework to do.
